SFBC Welcomes New Board Members

The South Florida Bike Coalition is proud to officially welcome the newest members of our Board of Directors, Felipe Azenha (TransitMiami.com), John Goings and Kirk Wilstermann of Treasure Coast Cycling Association and, on our Advisory Board, Arthur Abrams, an incoming Junior at Boca High School. Your SFBC is growing at a rapid, exciting pace. We can maintain this momentum because of the commitment of our volunteer Boards of Directors and Advisors. In addition to fundraising, SFBC Board members volunteer at all levels of our organization. They help guide our campaigns from before launch through completion and they represent SFBC at events across the region and beyond. On a personal note, they keep me both motivated and empowered on a day-to-day basis. We are all so lucky to have them.

A number of our Board members and other volunteers will be at the South Florida Bike Expo on Saturday and Sunday, July 17-18. If you would be willing volunteer with them to help with bike valet and other services, please let us know what times you will be available.

We are indebted to all of our volunteers and supporters for bringing us this far in such a short time. Your questions, suggestions, membership, volunteer time, words of support and ideas continue to drive us forward. Thank you.
